Why Install a Steering Damper?

A steering damper helps reduce these unwanted vibrations by stabilizing the front of the scooter. With this system installed, the KuKirin G2 Master becomes more stable, especially at high speeds or on bumpy roads. The steering is smoother, more controlled, and allows for more confident riding, even during tight turns or on uneven surfaces.

Where to Get the Steering Damper?

You can find compatible dampers and mounting brackets on marketplaces like AliExpress or through specialized scooter shops. Make sure to choose the right model for the KuKirin G2 Master, preferably one that has been tested and validated by the community.

Required Materials (with AliExpress links if available):

• 295mm steering damper

• Damper clamp

• Mounting bracket (only one in size 38–60mm)

• Mounts (you’ll need two, one for the top and one for the bottom)

Required Screws and Hardware:

• 2x M5 screws, 55mm long

• 1x M8 screw, 12mm long + 1x M8 washer (16×1.5mm)

• 1x M8 screw, 25mm long + 3x M8 washers (16×1.5mm) + 1x M8 nut

• 1x M8 screw, 45mm long + 10x M8 washers (16×1.5mm) + 1x M8 nut
